A few days ago, this guy Jeff e-mailed me to let me know about this really cool site he has, the Baltimore Taper blog, where he reviews concerts and posts audio he recorded at them. His current post is a 'flashback' review of C Love and DNA's "It's Baltimore Baby!" show at Sonar back in August 2006. I miss those shows, it used to be real exciting to know there'd be a solid bill of all local MCs at Sonar once a month, hopefully C Love and DNA haven't totally given up on that concept yet. Anyway, check out the post, you can stream mp3 recordings of performances by Skarr Akbar, Mullyman, Golden Seal, Only, Jeneba Suma, and Don Brody.

Thanks Al. Appreciate the love and respect you've always shown for the grind.
Shows....I would love to do a show....but got to make sure I can put together something I'd want to attend. There are lots of ppl out here doing their thing and I try to get out to the shows when I can....im peeping the new talent. I have no problem with falling back....I hope folk are taking advantage of this time.
Ive kinda beat the "showcase" concept to death...LOL! so from now on everything I do has to rise to the level of my own bar...that's always hard. Im trying to top myself...LOL!
IMA most def be in the house at Ogun's ALBUM RELEASE PARTY @ Sonar on 7/19/07.....this show is going to be crazy. I am really excited...2 of my favorite ppl Ogun and OOH on one stage....not to mention NOE is going to be in the building tearing it down no doubt. This has got me going a lil something. Also..the beat battle the other night was really fun Big Ups to the whole Star Status Ent Team...Sonny Brown (Get Well Soon, my brother!)....AKIRA...who bought out the big guns for sure. <---- This guy knew how to play the game. He was using the same jedi mind tricks I used to watch ppl play at SW...he knew how to really appeal to the ground and his beats got big reactions...especially that maneater beat...OMFG! That event was real nice...lots of dissapointments too...but overall that was a real good look. It inspired me.
anywho...I appreicate you and Jeff tremendously for keeping DNA and I relevant. Please believe..tho we may not be as visible as before...my bredren and I have been working.
