I generally don't like to pick on Pitchfork, because it's too easy, and because I wrote for them briefly about 4 years ago so I don't want to come off bitter or anything, but misinformation like this just pisses me off to no end: today they erroneously credited the production of "Crazy In Love" to Scott Storch for not the first time or even the second time, but at least the third time. Rich Harrison produced it, you fucking idiots. This information is not hard to find.

Comments:
To be fair, Storch did produce "Naughty Girl" and "Me Myself And I". But still, yeah, it's common knowledge that Rich Harrison did "Crazy in Love". Down in D.C. they don't let you forget it, since he came from the go-go scene there.

I also like how he referred to "Crazy In Love"'s horns as "Casablanca-era" when they came from a Chi-Lites song ca. 1970.

I like that he criticizes hip-hop for using a loop. Perhaps he is not really in his element.
