video trendwatch, pt. 2: Suddenly there are tattooed latino gangsta dudes all over the place, in Mobb Deep's "Got It Twisted" and in Lil Scrappy's "No Problem" (it looks maybe even some of the same guys in those 2) and in Blink 182's "Down".

It is the same guys! And they always seem to get beat up or otherwise humiliated by rappers trying to prove how tough they are! Give it a month, and that one poor badass-looking guy with the enormous moustache will probably turn up in a Murphy Lee video getting smacked in the head with a bottle. And then there's the one guy who's like covered head-to-toe in tattoos, including his face. That guy gets humiliated too.
